D.C. Area Teach Truth Day of Action

  • African American Civil War Memorial 1925 Vermont Avenue Northwest Washington, DC, 20001 United States (map)

This Teach Truth Day of Action is hosted by the African American Civil War Memorial and Museum and D.C. Area Educators for Social Justice. It is one of many Teach Truth Day of Action events being held across the United States at historic sites.

This event uplifts the voices that are censored by the increasing number of anti-history education laws. Everybody is invited to be in solidarity with D.C. area educators and students as they provide a valuable counter-narrative to the oversized coverage of anti-CRT protests at school board meetings and attacks against LGBTQ+ and trans rights.
